Erin K. Purta joined Greenwich Law Group, LLC in 2021. Erin represents clients in all facets of family law and has practiced exclusively in the area of family law in the Chicagoland area since 2004. In her family law practice, Erin offers both conventional litigation, collaborative practice services, and mediation services as an attorney, collaborative lawyer, and mediator. Erin believes each individual, family, and set of circumstances is different for every case requiring each case to have a unique strategy and approach to resolution. Erin assists her clients in developing unique solutions to their issues involving pre and post nuptial agreements, parenting matters, post decree matters, child support, spousal support, asset and debt allocation, and other family-related matters. Erin knows divorce and custody cases are complicated and that parties are impacted financially and emotionally. Erin strives to ease the anxiety and turmoil of divorce, allocation of parental issues, and post decree disputes by being a strong yet approachable advocate. Erin is dedicated to being proactive and obtaining the best possible result for her clients with the goal of competently assisting families through difficult transition periods while attempting to educate clients and minimize the length of the process.

Erin received her Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School and is licensed to practice law in Illinois. Erin trained as a mediator at the Center for Conflict Resolution and as a collaborative attorney through Collaborative Divorce Illinois (CDI). She is a Collaborative Fellow and member of the Illinois State Bar Association and Chicago Bar Association.
